Thanks and hope some smartie out there can get me going again. I can be contacted at (Edited: email address removed for security reason) If anyone can be of assistance, I'd appreciate the help.
mitu said in No Games will load: less /dev/shm/runcommand.log. For the former method, you'll need a keyboard attached to the Pi, the latter needs another PC on the same network.
I have run the Software Update program, and it says everything is up to date on my laptop. Use the File Manager entry in the RetroPie system or log in via SSH and use less /dev/shm/runcommand.log to look at the file. I hate to stop playing the games if there is a simple fix. I need some plain - clear - instructions on what I need to do to get the games working again, or else I have to simply renew my membership with pogo until my present laptop dies out and needs to be replaced - which I do every few years. Pogo games won't load on any of the browsers and it has something to do with Java. I have three browsers, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome and all have Java enabled. While I'm not a complete tech dummy, I don't want to do anything that is going to screw up my laptop in order to play Pogo games. I keep getting a message saying that I need to enable Java on my browser - I have a MACbook Pro and it is OS X Version 10.6.8. I've been a member of Pogo for nine years - and this past week all of a sudden - none of Pogo games will load. Information, Guides and Announcements for the EA app.
